1. Introduction
Welcome to Trails Travel Services (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the use of our website www.trails.com.tr and our services, including but not limited to private car hire with a driver, guided tours, and other travel-related services.
By using our website or booking our services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use our services.
2. Definitions

  • “Client,” “you,” “your” – Any person using our services.

  • “Service” – Private vehicle hire, chauffeur services, guided tours, or any other service offered by Trails.

  • “Driver” – An individual authorized by us to provide private transportation services.

  • “Booking” – A confirmed reservation made through our website, email, or phone.

3. Services Provided

  • We provide private car hire with a professional driver for transfers, tours, and custom travel itineraries.

  • All services are subject to availability.

  • We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone at our discretion.

4. Booking and Payment

  • Bookings must be made in advance via our website, phone, or email.

  • Full or partial payment may be required to confirm your booking.

  • We accept credit cards, debit cards, and online payment gateways.

  • Prices are listed in USD and other available currencies and are subject to change.

  • A booking confirmation will be sent via email upon successful payment.

5. Cancellation and Refund Policy
Cancellations for Private Tours

  • 48 hours or more before the service date: Full refund.

  • Cancellations made within 24-48 hours: 50% refund.

  • Cancellations made within 24 hours: Non-refundable.

  • Refunds will be processed within 7-14 business days through the original payment method.

Cancellations for Tailored Journeys
Tailored Journeys are fully customized travel experiences that involve accommodations, transportation, activities, and other services arranged on your behalf. Due to the complexity and non-refundable nature of these arrangements, the following cancellation policy applies:

  • More than 14 days before the start date: A partial refund may be available, depending on the cancellation policies of third-party providers such as hotels, airlines, and activity operators. Administrative fees will apply.

  • 7-14 days before the start date: A cancellation fee of up to 50% of the total package price may apply.

  • Less than 7 days before the start date: Non-refundable.

  • Any changes or modifications requested after confirmation may be subject to additional fees and availability constraints.

  • Refunds for Tailored Journeys are processed based on the terms of individual third-party providers and may take longer than standard processing times.

6. Client Responsibilities

  • You must provide accurate and complete booking details.

  • You are responsible for being on time at the agreed pickup location.

  • Any delays beyond 15 minutes without prior notice may result in additional charges or cancellation without refund.

  • You must comply with all local laws and respect the driver and vehicle.

7. Driver Conduct and Liability

  • All drivers are professionally trained and licensed.

  • Drivers have the right to refuse service to any client engaging in illegal, inappropriate, or unsafe behavior.

  • We are not liable for delays caused by traffic, weather conditions, force majeure, or road closures.

8. Limitation of Liability

  • We shall not be held responsible for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from service use.

  • We are not liable for lost, stolen, or damaged personal items left in our vehicles.

  • Maximum liability for any claim shall not exceed the total amount paid for the service.

9. Privacy and Data Protection

  • By using our services, you agree to our Privacy Policy (www.trails.com.tr/privacy-policy).

  • We collect personal data only to process bookings and improve our services.

  • Payment details are securely processed by third-party payment gateways.

10. Force Majeure
We are not liable for failure to perform obligations due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to:

  • Natural disasters (earthquakes, floods, storms)

  • Government restrictions, strikes, pandemics

  • War, terrorism, civil disturbances

  • Technical failures affecting transport operations

11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Turkey. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Izmir Courts and Execution Offices.
12. Amendments to Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to www.trails.com.tr. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
